Does MANSCAPED™ test on animals? Are MANSCAPED™ products cruelty free?

Vegan all the way, dudes! 

At MANSCAPED™ we use vegan ingredients in our products, so no bunnies are harmed in the process. No bunnies, no rats, no guinea pigs, and no mice either.  

We pride ourselves in creating male hygiene and grooming products that are tested out on humans, not animals. Our line of products is ALL completely vegan and cruelty-free, so you do not have to worry about what’s going on in a weird lab when it comes to us.  

We’re honest with you about what’s in our products. It’s on our labels and it’s plastered throughout our product pages on our website because we have nothing to hide. We’re proud our team does tons of research to find the best ingredients for each product.      

Leave it to us, not the furry babies.

So, to answer your question, NO ANIMALS outside of us good ole’ Homo sapiens are used to test out our products. Nada.  

The cool thing about humans is that they can talk. They can provide feedback on products really, really well. They can also say, “Hmmm, this product is causing me to itch all over.” Out loud.  

Last time we checked, bunnies can’t say “Ooooh, that new product feels so good on my balls.” They don’t say anything, so why would we use them for anything but snuggles? But Bob can talk. And Bob is a human man with man balls and man hair and a man body. We’re a male grooming and hygiene company, so we’re going to take our feedback from him.        

MANSCAPED™ is also proudly on PETA’s list of verified companies that do not test on animals. Little Bunny Foo Foo can keep running through the forest and maybe that little scamper will learn a lesson about not boppin’ the field mice on their heads. Nursery rhymes are oddly disturbing…

What goes into our products, you ask?  

We have eleven awesome male hygiene formulations, but to drive our point home about the best ingredients, we’re just going to zoom in on one of them.  

Say hello to the Crop Preserver® ball deodorant for just a moment. 

The Crop Preserver® formulation is our anti-chafing ball deodorant. Right on the product page you’ll see that it’s aluminum-free, cruelty-free, dye-free, paraben-free, and vegan. Like, it’s a bullet point. 

Then just keep scrolling a little and there is an entire section all about ingredients. You’ll see ingredients being listed like tapioca starch, caprylic capric triglycerides refined from coconut oil, and aloe. We even have an additional drop-down link where you can view EVERY ingredient in the Crop Preserver®, starting with water.  

You really can’t get more natural than water and hydration is key to keeping your skin and hair healthy, so that’s what we use. Why complicate things?
